| Elive, another distribution catering to users who prefer the Enlightenment window manager, has reached development version 1.8.8: "The Elive team is proud to announce the release of development version 1.8.8. This version solves two important problems found in the previous version: an annoying mouse bug and a network configuration bug. Changes: 'changedevice' boot option allows changing device during the boot process; hotkeys - the mute key now works; E17 updated to the last version from Subversion, now some modules like battery, temperature and CPU frequency are enabled only if hardware supports it; Thunar can now preview XCF (GIMP native format) images and Nintendo DS ROMs; auto-mounters - mount and umount devices from Thunar; kernel updated to version 2.6.25.16...."
